How is the E-Series (E65/E55/E90/EL55) different from the EX-Series (EX55/EX90)?

The E-Series (E65/E55/E90/EL55) and the EX-Series (EX55/EX90) are both battery-powered and rechargeable repellers. They are both highly effective against mosquitoes. There are a few differences between the two products, which are listed below: 

This particular model within the E-Series (the E65) comes with a charging dock. The E65 can also be charged by a USB cable, similar to other rechargeable repellers. 

EX series has the following features: 

• Rubber armored protection for impact resistance 

• Locking top 

• Integrated lanyard and carabiner for transport 

Can I turn on the E65 repeller while it is charging on the Dock?

No, you cannot turn on the E65 repeller while being charged on the Dock. The repeller will automatically turn off if you place it on the Dock.

Can E-Series, EX-Series, EL-Series Battery powered products be charged internationally?

Yes. However, the proper adapter by region should be used with a 5V 1A charger.

How long does it take to charge?

The E65 takes 2 hours to completely charge/recharge, which is 3X faster than other Thermacell rechargeable repellers.

Will my device let me know when it’s low on battery?

When your battery is too low, you will hear a 3 “same note” beep. If your device’s battery is too low to turn on, all 3 battery lights flash but the last light is red.

What are the main ingredients in your products?

Our products contain active ingredients that repel mosquitos and inactive ingredients that assist with their release into the air. Our rechargeable platform repellent cartridges use 5.5% metofluthrin as the repellent active ingredient.

Can I travel on an airplane with my rechargeable repeller?

Yes, current TSA and FAA regulations allow you to travel with a rechargeable repeller if it is in your carry-on baggage. Refills would follow TSA and FAA liquid guidelines. Please follow all TSA and FAA regulations.
